Hello there!

I'm a recent graduate of Full Sail University's Game Development on-campus bachelor program, complemented by a previous associate's degree in Computer Information Systems. I am beyond eager to get started in the field as a gameplay programmer and/or systems designer/programmer. Over the past 15+ years, I have dived into various areas of the game development process and software development life cycle, mostly as a hobbyist. It wasn't until 2019 that I quit my job working as a kitchen manager for 5+ years, and I decided to turn my passion into a career, putting all of my eggs into one basket - programming.

While I've mainly focused on the back-end side of things - building systems and logic; over the years, I've gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation. Along the way, I've learned several different game production processes and am truly a jack-of-all-trades.

Being a 3D generalist, as of late, during my time at Full Sail University, I sought after fine-tuning and specializing in one area of development - systems and gameplay programming. Also, during this fast-paced, accelerated curriculum, I generally took on the leadership and mentorship roles in terms of project conception, design, and management. Undoubtedly, I believe my skills and experience as a leader in my previous career easily transferred over to my new field.

 

As a leader, I love working with and helping others. I strive to be empathetic and help serve the entire team for all of us to reach success. My wide variety of skills and experiences also help make me a better leader as I have a keen eye for delegating tasks and sniffing out who should be where based on each team member's comfort zone and abilities.

Outside of designing and programming, I love participating in game jams with classmates and newly developed connections, playing the guitar, cooking Italian food, learning new languages, spending time with family, snowmobiling and dirt biking (depending on the time of the year), and of course, playing video games - especially all of my old favorite classics like the Syphon Filter, Tomb Raider, and Metal Gear Solid franchises.
